Any parent in America will tell you how challenging it is to provide healthy, nutritionally rich and delicious food to their kids, given all of the toxicity in our food system and the prevalence of processed food in our culture.  Getting picky eaters to chose wild salmon over mac and cheese can be a battle, so starting early and practicing good habits as a family is essential.  But it takes work and commitment.

Sadly, not a day goes by when I don't meet a new family whose child has either a food allergy, food intolerance, a neurological issue like ADHD or a developmental delay of some kind.  This is our new normal and it is very real.  For myriad reasons we aren't as healthy as we were a generation ago but there is a strong movement now to go back to how things were before the onslaught of processed foods and pesticides, in order to get our children back into balance.  Diet and nutrition, supplementation and recommending other alternative modalities are some of the ways I have helped my own children and many of my clients.

I am encouraged every time one of my children asks me for more kombucha, seaweed, or peppers and when I receive feedback from clients about similar requests from their kids.  The tide can change; we can be a part of turning around the health and wellbeing of future generations .
